Here is what I know about the stick, oops NIC....3Com:
* Giants games mess parking up. You have to park in
the lot and pay $5 to get in (could be more).
* On non-game days, you can park for free pretty
close to the launch, either on the lot or the street.
* Tide does not matter. Do not come into shore on a
screaming reach because of some submerged rocks.
Comming in too fast is rude even if there are no rocks.
* Check you gear before going out - fin, uni, mast, boom, lines -
as the wind is totally of-shore.
* Keep your eyes on the wind - it can back off in seconds
making for a long swim back to shore.
* Stay clear of the fishing dock - the fisherdudes get really
pissed off if you go over their lines (wouldn't you?)
* Wear booties (boooo, hisssss) - tons of glass/sharp
rocks/other crap all over the place.
* The showers are a cool bonus, enabling you to rinse you
stuff at the end of a sesh.

The stick is a good place to practice jibes/sail handling and
to race the cars on 101.
