I worked in Fremont for while and hunted the south shoreline quite a
bit without ever finding a place to put in. A lot of the roads
leading to the water are gated (owned by the guys who run the salt
ponds?). The rest lead to huge expanses of muck.

If you can get out of work by 4pm you'll be ok. If you have to wait
till 5, the traffic to 3rd (going either way, 880->92 or 237->101) is
pretty bad.
