     I rigged 6.3 pris/xantos285/15"pointer fin/218# at Embassy Suites
thurs. I sailed all the way to that huge crane structure near
candlestick. The bumpy ride killed my feet so I sailed back and
rigged( with a friend's pursuasion) my 5.5 prisma. I just bought this
sail and it was perfect. It blew harder than I thought and less power
helped in the cramped foot department. I never felt under powered at
all. The usual shin to boom height chop prevailed to keep me honest.
I stayed out there till 7:30 then screamed right in to the fishing
pier. It was great. Explaining this to you all is somewhat more
pleasant than to my partner who is wondering if "us" is the primary
thing in my life or "me and wind" is.

Anybody besides me ever sail Coyote? 8-)

I sailed there yesterday. 6.2/9'6"/HUGE Fin...230# body...
It was one of those days Coyote is famous for: wind shadows, strong
flood tide and monstor chop. Westerly wind which means hop up on a
board big enough to float ya a bit and puff slog out to the wind. Once
in the wind, it was 12 to 30 with some, depending on your perspective,
great or awful monstor chop. I had a BLAST! For me, I had the perfect
combination for the tough conditions. Lots of air....sure glad ASD
makes strong boards and my surgeon sewed my double hernia up well. In
the holes, the flood chop was actually large enough to surf to stay on a
plane or to pump up. 1.5 total hrs of sailing felt like my 3 hrs of
sailing last
Saturday. Great workout!

I had a perfect ending sailing in where I hit a 0 knot hole and had to
swim a bit until there was a puff to get back up and slog in.
