X-Sun-Charset: US-ASCII
Another problem I've had with the adjustable lines is the plastic
ladder lock buckle breaking from fatigue. I've found that unless racing
where you'd want to make adjustments on the fly, that the DaKine lines
with a loop made from nylon webbing that creates a knot that can be
untied easily give enough adjustment for different boom heights, style
of sailing, etc. Last years DaKine's that use a steel ring fail, as the
metal ring breaks, I went through 4 of them last summer. They've
replaced the metal ring with a thin loop of nylon webbing, which does
the same thing. These can be adjusted on both ends of the harness
line. Pretty simple and effective.
