Radio check: put it on 16, transmit "Any Vessel, any vessel, this is
<wind_talk> calling any vessel for a radio check please". Somebody might
answer.
The only traffic you'd be likely to pick up out there would be Pilot Boat
to Traffic Control and to ships. Try scanning 11, 12, 13. On weekends
you might get some sitdown sailors or racers out in the ocean. Channels
68 to the low 70s are popular. Also you could probly hit the Marine
Operator (telephone patch) on 25 or 26.
