Yowsa. full on wave gear, 4.2 max flat, wishing I'd rigged the 3.7.

Bashing on up the line, I'd look for a hole to jibe in. These words
kept popping up in my mind: "brutal", "survival", and "mama".

But don'tcha know it, when I got to break, the protection from the upwind
sandbar made for smooth flat water and clean little lined up waves, spray
comming off the lips like out of a fire hose. so clean, so mean, and
only waist deep in the crash/rest/waterstart zone.

Just me and three close personal friends. The rest of the crew, all 7 of
them, arrived kinda late and sailed at the launch, which also had waves.
