For those of you who are mechanically inclined, don't give a shit
about gas mileage, and like to carry a lot of gear - I offer the
     windsufer's VAN for sale:

     The good news:
     -------------
     1979 ford econoline (long model)
10' from back of seats to door

Interior set up to hold 3 boards and 5 sails conveniently while still
allowing 7' of floor space for sleeping, half of which has full height
ceiling for changing, plus plenty of additional storage for camping
     gear or more sails.

Somewhat flimsy bolted on roof rack for masts
     Nice carpet
Excellent aftermarket stereo (front speakers good, rear are shot)
     Unique paint job
     Runs decently
     4 speed manual transmission (3 + overdrive)
14 mpg (not bad for a van - my new one gets 11)
     price = $400

     The bad news:
     ------------
Serious, noisy exhaust leak in manifold needs to be fixed
Not smogged, and won't be (see above)
     Mucho rust (originally from Massachusetts)
Roof leaks, but should be repairable with enough bondo
Transmission is sound, but shifting requires some finesse
     200,000 miles
     Unique paint job
