The U.S. Coast Guard reports it is searching tonight for an overdue
windsurfer who left from the Coyote Point windsurfing park.
A spokesman said that a fireboat from San Francisco International
Airport, a Coast Guard helicopter, two land patrols and Foster City
police are searching for the Palo Alto man. He said the search began
at about 7 p.m. and the man was last seen at about 6:15 p.m. near the
San Mateo Bridge. The man's vehicle was left in a towaway zone, he
said.
