Subject: 3rd Report/Tuesday

With reports of the wind blasting on the bay, I could not wait to get
ooo. I showed up at 3rd around 5:30 with cotw showing 20 average.
Rigged 5.3/8.8 (#180). Nicely powered for an hour. The inside was very
flat and steady and the channel was a little disorganized. An hour
later the wind picked up strong in the channel and big swells built up
quickly. Overpowered for a while with a few 6' to 8' rollers and the
sun low on the horizon. Slowed down around 7:15 for a long stretch
home. Great day for a late start.
