Because when it blows over 92, the wind at Coyote, and to a lesser
degree at 3rd, turns more westerly and gusty ("the gusterlies"). At
Coyote, we get the chop coming from two or three directions, making
pretty bouncy sailing. It is, to be sure, less important than SFO and
SoSF as an indicator.
