Crissy was dead until just before I arrived
at 5:15. I sailed to 7:15 on my Saxo 265 and Bravo 6.0 (200#)
I could have sailed even later on my bigger board, but I didn't
want to take any chances. I sail to within 10 yards of the beach.
It was ebbing very hard, but there wasn't too much chop.
A friend launched from the Coast Guard station a little bit earlier,
but when the wind picked up at Crissy, it changed direction a bit
(going more westerly), leaving a huge hole by the coast guard station.
