Yesterday, I damaged my '93 F2 Sputnik 285 and would like some
suggestions on how to fix it.
It is a small puncture/crack wound that happened when I fell trying
to uphaul and my reactor bar hit the rail of the board.
This happened at Crissy yesterday (5.5, overpowered on the 285).
I immediately sailed to shore, and I have placed my board on
my fire escape to sit in the sun.
Has anybody tried Ding Stick?
I have a West Marine Epoxy kit, which has a packet of
resin, a packet of hardener, and some white filler stuff.
Would that work well?
Also, I own a tube of Solarez, but I've heard that it should
not be used on epoxy boards. Is that true?
Thanks for any advice.
Justin
