Me too. The last flare I tested had rusted out at the firing pin, and
when I pulled the chain it broke off. I noticed that the safety kits
sold at ASD/Warehouse have wax on the ends of the flares. I'm going to
try this on my remaining flares and see how it works out. I'm hoping
that even if my flares are duds, someone would see my strobe if I'm
floating around in the Bay.
