Don't know how the coast was, but I went to 3rd yesterday. Got there
about 4:30 and it looked windy in the channel, but pretty dead near the
shore - nobody was out, but bunch of people were rigging (the parking
lot was pretty full). Rigged 5.9/9.0 (190#) slogged half way to the
channel then was fully powered/OP until about 6:00 when the wind had
come down. The channel was still pretty good with my rig through
(ebbing the all time). Came back to shore at 7:00 slogging back the last
1/2 mile (very little wind). Light but nice day (very warm).
