For wind in the 3.5-4.0 m2 range I think both the Saxo 265 and Vivace 263 a
little big. You might consider the Saxo 253 if you want to stay with Bic. I
have a Seatrend 8'2" for high wind. I use that board for 3.5-4.9 (155 lbs).
The F2 Wave 255 is another nice high wind board, but still may be too big. Look
for something below 80 liters.

just bob

I am interested in finding out which board would be a better purchase for an
150lb. advanced intermediate sailor to use at the gorge and for lake
resivoir sailing in Utah. The two boards that I am considering are the Saxo
265 and the Vivace 263. I already have an Electric Rock for light to
moderate wind slalom and want to extend my range down to 3.5-4.0m2.
