One more thing at Waddel you should be aware of is that the current
tends to take you down wind. The waves downwind tend to be bigger, but
the wind is less, so you can really get worked if you get too far downwind.
Some people call it the Black Hole. Anyway once you get past the river,
you may want to walk you gear back up the beach. If you use more of
a pointing type fins, you may find it easier to get back upwind. If its
real windy, you shouldn't have too much problem with the current.
