There haven't been any more contributions to the old-wetsuit drive
for the Lake Merrit Sailing Center. So far we have only eight.
I would think they need more than that to resume the program.

Before we give up, I'd like to give it a better try. I have
prepared a sign that can be posted at local windsurfing stores.
It says:

  In January, a theft of wetsuits at the Lake Merrit Sailing Center in
  Oakland killed their windsurfing program. We are trying to help
  get it restarted. Please donate your old wetsuit (any age, shape, or
  thickness) by dropping it at this store or contact Luigi Semenzato
  at (510) 482-4369 (internet: luigi@cs.berkeley.edu-DeleteThis) for an
  alternate drop point.

I am including the Postscript for the sign at the end of this message.
If you can volunteer to take this sign to a store, and/or to be added
to the list of contacts, or have any other suggestions, please let me
