Kirk,

Have you tried the 12.5" Hot Dog? I've seen them, and have wondered
how they handle. I'm looking for a very loose fin (bump & jump with
a slalom personality) for mostly 5.7 conds, maybe powered 6.3. I
would be interested in your impressions of the TA Hot Dog. Although
right now I am living vicariously through everyone on wind_talk, as
I broke my right foot a week ago at 3rd Ave. It got caught in the
back foot strap in a fall. So it will be mid August before I'll be
trying any new fins.

Rainbow has released a new Naish fin, called the Bash & Slash (Saw it
at Windsurf Warehouse). Has anyone tried it? It looks like it would
be a pretty loose fin with a slalom aspect for some upwind performance.

Anyone know of anyplace that demo's fins?

~Jim
