I *used* to use these same W.H. camfoots, and dumped them after having
my board/mast disconnect. I did see that they had corrected the problem
with the bungee cord, but that hardly seemed like a fix, and more like
a "cludge"!

Chinook has a nice "quick release" foot that I use on one of my boards
that doesn't have a mast track, but screw holes. It is normally used
with two mast track bolts like the W.H. camfoot. I also have two
Gorge Technology star foots, with the Boge hour glass. They also have
been very reliable.
