I was at 3rd, and didn't hear of anyone stuck in the channel.

One guy I know (Nick Smith, for those of you who know him) busted a universal
outside, but was towed in part way before the wind came way up, and managed to swim
down to the way lower beach (even managed to keep his rig!). I talked to him
back at the parking lot around 6:45-7:00. I don't know of anyone calling the
Coast Guard for him (maybe the guy who towed him did?), but no one showed up
from the Coast Guard Auxiliary like for the guy last week, and I don't remember
seeing any boats out there....
